Job Title: GIS Business Analyst
Location: Pontiac, MI (Onsite)
Duration: 2 Years | Part-Time (10–20 hours per week, primarily during business hours)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time GIS Business Analyst to support spatial data collection, analysis, and management within a Geographic Information System (GIS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning and coordinating GIS initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, and promoting data-driven decision-making. This position requires a strong technical background in GIS tools and the ability to collaborate effectively while working independently on multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit, maintain, and update existing GIS data.
Design and manage GIS dataset schemas, including views, tables, and attribution.
Prepare and present technical reports, both written and verbal, in a clear and concise manner.
Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Analyze problems, exercise judgment, and recommend effective solutions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
