Weld Engineer – Automotive Stamping & Welding
Location: Southern California. | $120K – $140K - Relocation Assistance - Sign On-Bonus

We’re seeking an experienced Weld Engineer with a strong background in Automotive Welding, Quality, Robotics, and Stamping (steel & aluminum). Spanish fluency is a big plus! Aerospace Background also Considered!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead welding solutions for stamping & robotic weld cells (MIG, TIG, Spot)
- Develop procedures, troubleshoot processes, and support prototype builds
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and plant leadership
- Evaluate new tech and manage capital projects
- Work with customers on automotive and consumer product weld applications
✅ Requirements:
- Automotive experience REQUIRED (PPAP, APQP, Die, etc.)
- Bachelor's in engineering + 3+ years in quality or weld engineering
- Strong leadership, innovation, and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of welding techniques and robotic systems
- Bonus: Spanish fluency, SolidWorks, CAD experience, PLCs
