Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate-1st Shift at our Fontana, CA location! The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. The core hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. **Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits that we offer:** + Health benefits effective day one of employment. + Retirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more! **What you'll do:** The Warehouse Associate role is responsible for shipping and outbound, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. **In this function, you will:** - Assemble pallets with designated orders and accurately stage them in the assigned loading dock area. - Select orders in the presented priority sequence, ensuring safety, precision, and producity targets are consistenly met. - Group like products and build orders to maxmize space efficiency ad stability, using best practices for cube utilization. - Inspect products regularly for damage or irregularities, and promptly report issues to ensure safety and compliance. - Retrieve and verify orders based on size, quantity, and SKU accuracy to maintain fulfillment standards. - Ensure correct shipping information is attached (labels) to pallets and move them to designated shipping dock areas. - Adhere to specific instructions regarding pallet type, product segregation, labeling requirements, and any additional conditons provided. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** - High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution. - Must have a Minimum of one year experience with Power Industrial Trucks, such as a Sit-Down Forklift or Reach Truck. - Must have basic computer skills (ex: printing, emails, etc.) and the ability to operate an RF scanner. - Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. - No relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Fontana, CA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Minimum of six months experience with a Cherry Picker or Reach Truck. Prior experience with Raymond equipment strongly preferred - Proficient with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) software. - Ability to flex shift hours throughout the week and weekends as needed. **Skills:** **Position Success Criteria:** + Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. + Must be detail-orientated and have the ability to focus on tasks at hand. + Must have familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and be able to adhere to safety, quality, productivity, and 5S standards. + Must be responsive to internal and external customers requests. + Must have basic math and recording abilities. + Ability to to lift 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. + Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on business needs. + Must have the ability to work harmoniously with diverse ranges of people.
