Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven
Warehouse & Shipping Manager to oversee all activities related to Warehouse (WH), Shipping (SD). This role is responsible for managing warehouse operations and contents by establishing and overseeing security procedures and protocols, controlling inventory levels, performing physical counts, and reconciling with the data warehouse system. Develop, monitor, and control shipping processes, ensuring optimization and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and control strategic plans, implementation, and direction for the Warehouse and Shipping department.
- Ensure compliance with Warehouse Policy, Procedures, and Discipline.
- Monitor daily cycle count activities.
- Manage raw material and finished goods inventory.
- Provide management training and staff development.
- Develop and implement effective warehouse and shipping strategies to meet customer service objectives and company goals.
- Coordinate and manage the shipment of products from suppliers, ensuring accurate documentation, packaging, and labeling.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate delivery.
- Monitor and track warehouse and shipment activities, providing regular updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability of products for shipment.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse and shipping processes, including automation and use of technology.
- Resolve any warehouse and shipping discrepancies, such as damaged or lost, and work with CM and QC to resolve.
- Review and analyze warehouse and shipping data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Train and supervise staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, cycle count/inventory control and shipping administration
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to quickly resolve shipping issues and make informed decisions.
- Good knowledge of warehouse and shipping techniques to ensure product safety control and transit.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset for analyzing shipping data and identifying areas for improvement .
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Skills & Competencies - Proficient in SAP, inventory management systems, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Deep understanding of shipping practices, inventory procedures, and logistics best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
