Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations and contribute to our mission of promoting wellness and enjoyment through cannabis.

 

Position Summary:

As the Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring compliance with California cannabis regulations while driving sales and maintaining operational excellence. Your leadership skills will be essential in building a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring our store meets the needs of our customers and community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Leadership: Train and develop store staff to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets. Provide continuous feedback and coaching.

• Operational Excellence: Oversee all store operations, ensuring compliance with state cannabis regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Manage hard good inventory and ordering.

• Sales and Customer Service: Implement strategies to achieve sales targets, including promotional campaigns, customer loyalty programs, and community outreach. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.

• Financial Management: Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth and efficiencies. Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting.

• Inventory: Oversee inventory teams in day-to-day handling of product intaking, reconciliation, audits, merchandising, etc. Notify product manager and retail management teams of inconsistencies with product orders upon receipt or out of stocks. Verify, input and reconcile invoices for accounting.

• Delivery: Oversee delivery teams in day-to-day operations handling route optimization, customer service issues, order fulfillment, vehicle maintenance and upkeep, and identifying safety or security issues within the department.

• Compliance and Security: Maintain a thorough understanding of all state and local cannabis regulations, ensuring the store operates in full compliance. Oversee security measures to protect staff, customers, and assets.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in the cannabis industry.

• Strong understanding of California cannabis laws and regulatory compliance.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and provide excellent customer service.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
