This role is for a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of medical instruments and equipment. The SPT will adhere to established infection control protocols and maintain accurate records. A minimum of three years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
- Preparing instruments and equipment for surgical procedures and other medical treatments.
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of sterilization processes.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Sterile Processing Technician certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per contract.
- Candidates who worked at this facility in the past year or full-time within the AMC network in the past six months are not eligible.
