Job Description:
Looking for a skilled Solutions Architect to support cloud-native architecture initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in AWS, Apache Spark, Kubernetes (EKS), and modern orchestration tools. The candidate will drive design, scalability, and performance across a secure, regulated cloud environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Scale, tune, and integrate Spark jobs in AWS
• Work with orchestration tools like Airflow, Glue, Databricks, and Snowflake
• Build infrastructure using IaC (Terraform preferred)
• Design secure, high-performing pipelines with CI/CD tools
• Lead cross-team architecture discussions and technical alignment
• Ensure secure deployment practices and governance adherence

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in software development or solutions architecture
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark architecture and integration
• AWS core services: compute, IAM, monitoring, networking (e.g., VPC peering, NAT Gateway)
• Advanced knowledge of EKS/Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Terraform and modular IaC design
• Coding skills in Java or Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Security and compliance experience in regulated environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services or large enterprises
• Hands-on with low-latency API performance use cases
• Knowledge of data catalog tools like Unity Catalog or Alation
