Job Description

The Site Manager is responsible for the main site assigned and one additional site for general operations and administrative functions.

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Oversees daily clinical operations, not limited to but including: vaccine ordering, management of the referrals department, and reporting requirements for inspection.
  • Order medical and office supplies needed for operations and coordinate supply purchases with administrative personnel.
  • Facilitate communication among support staff in conjunction with the Clinical Coordinator.
  • Assist in patient complaints or concerns that may arise at the assigned medical center.
  • Assist Clinical Coordinator in training and delegation as assigned by the Clinical Coordinator
  • Help instruct clinical staff on various clinical assignments and functions provided by the Clinical Coordinator.
  • Identifies and seeks input for continuous improvement. Participates in workflow and clinical quality improvement committees as needed. Ensures implementation of new office procedures.
  • Coordinate the LabCorp contractual agreement.
  • Communicate daily with the Clinical Director/Executive Director and Clinical Coordinator.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with coworkers and patients.
  • Adapt communication style to the employee’s or patient’s ability to understand and to the needs of the specific situation.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of motivation, initiative, and leadership.
  • Abide by the policies and procedures of the Hot Springs Health Program.
  • Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality in performance or personal issues regarding staff.
  • Participate in the Administrative on-call rotation. May require responding to after-hours facility emergencies.
  • Assist in training new staff as needed.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines.
  • Travel will be required to all centers, as well as outside the practice, as needed.


Job Requirements:

Education:

  • High School graduate or GED. CNA is preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior work in a medical office setting with demonstrated ability to work as a team with a variety of staff members. 
  • Must have a high level of maturity, a consistently positive attitude, and an emphasis on fairness in dealing with others. 
  • Must have excellent skills in communicating with patients, de-escalating tense situations, and promoting harmony among office staff. 

Other:

  • Valid NC driver’s license, and dependable transportation.
