Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy/GI Procedures

Location: Bronx, NY 10451

Assignment Length: 8 weeks (No extension)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours per week | No weekends

Pay Rate: $75 – $80 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Endoscopy/GI Procedures to join our clinical team on a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety throughout the peri-procedural process. Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care during GI/Endoscopy procedures.

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy with accuracy and efficiency.

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with hospital protocols.

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ vital signs and responses before, during, and after procedures.

• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in GI/Endoscopy.

• Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.

• In-depth knowledge of GI/endoscopic procedures and patient monitoring.

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Education & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.

• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required.
