Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager at Morgan State University. We are looking for an innovative leader who is comfortable with technological advances, learning new retail programs, and has strong employee engagement skills to drive strategic growth. The Retail Director will oversee retail locations, including a Chic-fil-A, Micro Market, and Food Court. This position will support 40 frontline associates, 2 Salary Managers, and 10 Supervisors, and will be responsible for assisting in managing projects, including upcoming retail brands.

Lead a team of highly motivated staff while delivering exceptional food-focused hospitality and service as its core mission. As a leader of outstanding customer service, and a desire to provide flawless, detail-oriented dining experiences. Come and join the SodexoMAGIC organization!

What You'll Do

• Ensure a zero-harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
• Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts, ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies, and resources.
• Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
• Maintains client satisfaction with food quality & customer service.
• Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
• Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
