We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team at Midwood Smokehouse. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen’s efficiency and ensuring that we continue to uphold our reputation as one of the areas best BBQ restaurants. The ideal candidate will have experience in high volume, scratch kitchen environments and a passion for delivering quality food.

Prep Cook Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently run your station during the shift, ensuring all specs are followed and food is stocked as needed.
• Prep and prepare all menu items for your station, following recipes and portioning products accurately.
• Maintain a clean work station, adhering to all food handling and sanitation standards.
• Assist other stations in the kitchen as directed by management.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet Midwood Smokehouse standards.

Prep Cook Qualifications:

• Prior experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation in a high volume, scratch kitchen.
• Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
• Good communication skills to effectively work with team members and management.
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays.
