Job Description

Job Description As a Pension Administrator, you will support our team in guiding Participants through their pension benefits, ensuring compliance, and managing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities: - Correspond with Participants, third parties, and vendors. - Counsel Participants on retirement and death benefits. - Implement benefit modifications and process death benefits. - Calculate retirement and death benefits, and handle over/underpayments. - Ensure compliance with Trust Agreement and laws, process legal documents, and manage IRS levies. - Determine eligibility for health coverage and calculate benefit adjustments. - Process retirement applications and prepare annual statements. - Verify income and contributions, and manage marriage/divorce documents. - Handle electronic funds transfers, international wire transfers, and monthly pension payables. - Respond to emails, prepare claim denials, and draft appeal memos. - Train and cross-train team members. - Coordinate with departments and vendors, develop the Benefits Website, and assist with annual processes. --- Does this look better to you?
