Position: Oracle Pl/SQL Developer with Financial Domian

Location: New Jersey, US (Need Locals)

Exp Range : 12 Years

Following are the critical observations, they may help in picking the right candidates.

The associates have faltered on PL/SQL mainly. They are unable to tell cursors, analytical solutions using pl/sql, exception handling, analytical functions.

They have written many things in resume, but they are not able to answer if asked few things from resume (example person mentioned snowflake but was not able to answer.

Person should know what the have mentioned in their resume if its different from current JD (example AWS, CI/CD, Snowflake etc). But definitely they shall know PL/SQL and Python.

In python person should be able to write codes using list/dictionary, Connecting and loading data to pl/sql

Responsibilities

Oracle Pl/SQL Developer with extensive experience in PL/SQL and Python .

6+ years of relevant experience and skilled in , Oracle Database with hands on exposure to Cloud environment - preferably AWS (S3)

Exposure to data movement between Oracle to other RDBMS and vice versa using Python

Good hands-on on PL/SQL including bulk collects, procedures, functions, cursors and exception handling.

Person shall have good knowledge on Window functions, analytical functions, CTE, Merge.

Very good experience in reading SQL plans, performance tuning, partitioning and other techniques.

Very good SQL expertise in Joins, Analytical functions.

Person should have worked on python dtypes like list, dictionaires, tuples

Hands-on and good experience on python libraries like pandas, sys, os, logger, argument parser, oracle conn libraries.

Good exposure to string handling and email function using python.

Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions

Good to know Snow SQL, Snow Pipes, Streams, Views, Procedures, performance tuning.

Good to have knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo.

Good to have python experience with hands-on experience on pandas, snowpark, data crunching, connecting other RDBMS.

Good to have Cloud knowledge on AWS services like S3, Lambda, Athena or Blob

Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills

Candidate should be good in communication and articulation

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

Graduate/B Tech/MCA

Knowledge/exp. of Banking or Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position

Preferred qualifications

Oracle DB with extensive experience in PL/SQL and Python.
