Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install landscape fabric, erosion control blankets, or decorative mulch mats.
• Secure matting using stakes, pins, or adhesives as required.
• Cut and fit matting around plants, trees, and landscape features.
• Maintain tools and equipment used for matting installation.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE such as high visibility vest, high top construction boots, and hardhat if the workspace requires.
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality results.

 
Qualifications:

• Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit, able to bend, stretch, kneel and stand throughout the entirety of the shift.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Comfortable using hand tools like utility knives, hammers, and rakes.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor job sites.
• Exposure to sun, rain, dirt, and uneven terrain.
• May involve early morning starts.
