Golf Pro Shop Attendant
School in Blairstown, New Jersey is looking for a Golf Pro Shop Attendant.
Position Overview:
This seasonal position (including rotating weekends from March through late November) is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, and general upkeep and organization. The successful candidate, who will report to the Golf Pro Shop Director, will be knowledgeable about the sport, friendly, helpful and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer phone and respond to emails.
• Answer questions about merchandise and facility rules.
• Check in players and collect fees.
• Address and resolve customer concerns.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for purchases.
• Process cash, credit card and membership account transactions.
• Keep accurate sales and attendance records.
• Upkeep of golf carts.
• Order and stock inventory.
Requirements:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic math and POS/cash-handling ability.
Knowledge of golf.
Ability to multi-task.
Attention to detail.
Flexible in providing coverage as needed.
Compensation:
$15.49 – $16.50 per hour.
