Our large staff of caregivers and home health aides are experienced and screened to be able to provide non-skilled and non-medical services for seniors.

Job Summary:
The Driver ensures timely and safe delivery or nutritious meals to our clients’ homes. Responsible to adhering to food safety standards, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. This role contributes by enhancing the quality of life for its clients through reliable and compassionate service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure punctual delivery of meal to clients’ home according to scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the meal preparations team to pick up and deliver meals efficiently.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during the transportation and delivery of meals.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of the meals during transit to ensure they meet food safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients during meal deliveries.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to clients’ inquiries or concerns related to meal delivery.
  • Communicate any special requests or feedback from clients to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records of meal deliveries, including clients’ signatures, pictures of delivered meal and delivery times.
  • Report any delivery issues, such as delays or damaged packages, to the supervisors promptly.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the deliver vehicle.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate effectively with the meal preparation team, and administrative staff to ensure seamless meal delivery operations.
  • Communicate any changes in delivery schedules or clients’ preferences to the appropriate team member.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with local streets, routes, and traffic patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor, especially when dealing with elderly or medically fragile individuals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Shows dependability by being punctual; maintains consistent attendance.
  • CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift and carry meal packages and navigate stairs if necessary.
  • Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.
  • Hearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with clients.
  • Frequent need to handle emergency or crisis situations.
  • Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.


Work Environment:
The Driver typically works on a part-time or full-time basis. The job may involve irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate clients’ schedules. Drivers may spend a significant amount of time sitting and driving.

ABOUT CARE AND HELP HOME CARE, LLC CARE AND HELP HOME CARE, LLC (“Company”) provides non-skilled services to individuals in their homes or other independent living environments. These services include (but are not limited to) assistance with self-administration of medications, personal care such as assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, homemaking such as assistance with household tasks housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation, and transportation, companionship, respite care such as assistance and support provided to the family; and other non-skilled services. We conduct criminal background checks when required on all staff. We also conduct physicals and tuberculosis screenings for all direct care workers and office staff with direct consumer contact upon hiring and on a yearly basis. The direct care workers of the Company are required to complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or a state certification program. This training includes information regarding personal hygiene, safe transfer techniques, infection control, and basic nutrition. All direct care workers of our company also receive supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer or verification of prior experience.
