Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer with 8 10 years of mobile application development expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, testing, and deploying Android applications, as well as experience working with modern Android frameworks and tools. This is a client-facing role that requires local Texas candidates for an on-site interview.



Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8 10 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Strong understanding of MVVM/MVC design patterns and Android Jetpack components.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML data.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture, performance tuning, and memory optimization.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for Android apps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics tools.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for mobile backend services.

Additional Details:

• Local candidates to Texas only must be available for an in-person interview in Dallas.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
